This traditional 3-bed cottage is the larger of the two holiday cottages, sleeps up to 7 people and is located right next to Dockwell Farm.
It is conveniently located to get out and about and is within easy distance of pretty local villages (nearest one is Widecombe-in-the-Moor), pubs, shops and local tourist attractions such as Haytor, Saddle Tor, Hound Tor, House of Marbles, Becky Falls and Ullacombe Farm.

Property Description
The ground floor is a spacious open plan area that consists of a traditional, but modern living room with 2 x 3 seater sofas, 1 x armchair, coffee table, dining table, piano and TV. The dining table overlooks the patio garden that seats up to 7 people with a cosy chiminea to keep you warm on the cooler nights. The kitchen consists of an electric oven hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board and all basic cooking utensils, essential to cook for a cosy night in. You’ll also find washing up liquid, cleaning material, cloths, sponges, hand towel and tea towel.
A welcome basket with all the main essentials to get you started will be provided, such as milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, scones with cream and jam (the Devonshire Way).
On the first floor, the main bedroom features as super comfy king-sized bed with linen provided, wardrobe, chest of drawers/table with a mirror and hairdryer and side tables with lamps.
Across the hallway is bedroom 2 with a super comfy double bed and single bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps.
Next to bedroom 2, is bedroom 3, with 2 super comfy single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables with lamps.
At the end of the hallway is the large family bathroom with a large shower, toilet, sink, bathroom side table and towel rails. Essential overnight toiletries are provided, just in case you forget them and of course bath and hand towels.
In the garden, there is a full patio area with tables and chairs, chimenea and is a reasonable sized, self-contained garden to enjoy those wonderful summer evenings where the stars come out to twinkle bright above.
Your hosts can be found on site in Dockwell Farm, which is a working upland farm. We do have 2 working dogs on site, 5 horses and other livestock at certain times of year. If you wish to let your dog off for a run in one of our fields, just ask which ones are free on your arrival.
Onsite Facilities
Parking is right outside your cottage and a laundry area with a washing machine, tumble dryer and an additional freezer can be found at the end of the buildings, should you need them.
Pets Allowed
Dogs are allowed in Brimble Cottage at an extra charge of £20 per week, payable on arrival.
Bring Your Horse
You are welcome to bring your horses with you too, both stabling and grazing are available. Please contact us direct for bookings and details.
