This quaint little traditional cottage is the smaller of the two holiday cottages, sleeps up to 4 people, and is located next to Brimble Cottage.
It is conveniently located to get out and about and is within easy distance of pretty local villages (nearest one is Widecombe-in-the-Moor), pubs, shops and local tourist attractions such as Haytor, Saddle Tor, Hound Tor, House of Marbles, Becky Falls and Ullacombe Farm.

Property Description
The ground floor is open plan and consists of a traditional stone walled living room with 2 x 2 seater sofas, coffee table, fireplace and TV. The dining table overlooks the garden and seats 4 people. The Kitchen consists of electric oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board and all basic cooking utensils, essential to cook for a cosy night in. You’ll also find washing up liquid, cleaning materials, cloths, sponges, hand towel and tea towel.
A welcome basket with all the main essentials to get you started will be provided, such as milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, scones with cream and jam (the Devonshire way).
On the first floor, the main bedroom features a super comfy king-sized bed with linen provided, wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and hairdryer, and side tables with lamps. Next door is a lovely family bathroom with a shower over bath, toilet, sink and towel rail. Essential overnight toiletries are provided, just in case you forget them and towels.
On the second floor, in the attic room you will find two twin single beds with linen provided, futon, bedside tables with lamps, desk and a skylight window where at night you can see the stars twinkling in the night sky.
In the garden, there is a patio area with table and chairs and a reasonable sized self contained garden to enjoy those wonderful summer evenings.
Your hosts can be found on site in Dockwell Farm, which is a working upland farm. We do have 2 working dogs on site, 5 horses and other livestock at certain times. If you wish to let your dog off for a run in one of our fields, just ask which ones are free on your arrival.
Onsite Facilities
Parking is right outside your cottage and a laundry area with a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional freezer and fridge can be found right next door. should you need them.
Pets Allowed
Dogs are allowed in Dashel Cottage at an extra charge of £20 per week, payable on arrival.
Bring Your Horse
You are welcome to bring your horses with you too, both stabling and grazing is available. Please contact direct for details.
